• Transcript Request Form (for current 12th graders)
• Due to the volume of transcript requests we receive at the beginning of the school year, the Guidance Department has established due dates by which we will need to receive your signed transcript request form in order to ensure timely processing by your college application deadlines.  Please adhere to the dates below:

• SUNY Free Application Window is October 19^th through November 2^nd.  Apply to five SUNY schools for no fee!  See link for the complete list of schools in New York offering free applications.
• Senior College Handbook 2026
• FAFSA opened October 1^st.  Apply for federal financial aid.
• New York State TAP, Excelsior Scholarship, STEM Incentive, Dream Act, and more – Access through the HESC website.

• Course Withdrawal Policy:  Students are permitted to withdraw from classes, without penalty, for the first 4 weeks of school. If a student chooses to withdraw after the 4-week window, they will receive a WP (Withdrawn Passing) or a WF (Withdrawn Failing) based on their grades at the time of withdrawal. The last day that students may request to withdraw from class, without penalty, is Monday October 5th, 2026. We will be strictly following these deadlines to maintain appropriate class sizes to continue to offer the wide variety of programs that we do.

• College and Career Readiness Checklist: Check out this comprehensive list of tasks that will help you stay organized, identify potential career interests, and obtain the information needed to maximize your college selection process.  Also available in Spanish. 
• Suffolk Community College Early College Program: Interested in getting a jump start on college coursework? Eligible 11th and 12th graders can take college courses through the Early College Program at Suffolk County Community College.  Rising 10th graders may enroll starting in the summer session. Spring 2027 Registration is now open. Popular classes often fill early, so do not delay in completing your application. If you are a Sachem North graduate and need your high school transcript sent to a college or employer, please call Mrs. Nye in the Guidance Office at 631-471-1400 ext 5510. Mrs. Nye will provide you with the instructions on how to obtain your high school transcript.
