Dear Sachem North Community,
Our January Mid-Year Testing Week is scheduled for Tuesday, January 20 through Friday, January 23. During this time, regular classes will not be in session, and Sachem North will operate on a testing schedule.
Attached is the information, including the January Midterm and Regents Exam Schedule, Testing Week Transportation Information, and Bus Routes.
* Please note that our students that attend BOCES programs will continue to follow their BOCES program schedule, and transportation to all the BOCES centers will be provided at the usual times.
**Important Note for Students Registered for the Earth Science Regents (Friday, January 23): The laboratory practical portion of the exam will be administered on Wednesday, January 14 and Thursday, January 15, 2026, during Periods 8, 9, and 10 in the Little Theatre.

Attention Seniors: to help celebrate your hard work and accomplishments, we have opened a website so you may purchase your graduation regalia. This will be the only opportunity to purchase your own cap, gown and tassel. Materials will be shipped to the school and distributed at graduation rehearsal in June. Please go to North’s home page and there will be a link to make the purchase. All orders must be placed by February 27th.
Sachem North Cosmetology is happy to announce the opening of our Friday salon clinic and Saturday salon days. Every Friday will be open for business periods 5-9 and twice a month on Saturdays from 9-12. Call or stop by room G106 to make an appointment.
The World Language Honor Society will be having its Heritage Fair on March 6th during the school day. All interested students must attend the January 30th meeting during 10th period in the Little Theater. Please see Mrs. Italiano or Ms. Ferraiolo with any questions.
Attention all students attending AM or PM BOCES CTP programs: From January 20-January 23, Sachem North will be operating on a testing schedule. All BOCES programs will continue to run at their normal times. Unless you have a scheduled exam, BOCES attendance is mandatory for the week. If you have a school exam scheduled during your regular BOCES session, you must report to Dr. Galligan’s office (D113A) to sign in for attendance to receive a verified BOCES excusal for that day. Thank you.

Scheduling for the 2026-2027 school year
Attention current Juniors: Counselors have concluded visiting classrooms regarding scheduling and will begin calling you down this week to discuss your next year course selections.
SENIORS: If your college/university requires a midyear report, please make sure to fill out a transcript request form in the guidance office so your school receives it in a timely manner.

SACHEM HIGH SCHOOL NORTH GRADUATION 2026
Attention Potential January Graduates:
In January, you will receive an invitation to attend our informal graduation reception to be held on Tuesday morning, February 3rd @ 11:00 am in the Little Theater. A list of potential mid-year graduates has been posted in several locations throughout the building. You will be responsible for checking the spelling of your name on this list as this is the name that will appear on your diploma. Pay special attention to the spelling of middle names, hyphenated names and spacing. Make sure you show up for all your exams and take care of all your fines. If you have any questions regarding our February reception or changes to your name, please see Mr. Mastropolo in B112 immediately.
