  • Attention Seniors: If you have not done so yet, please order your cap and gown for graduation. The window closes February 27th and the link is on North’s home page.

    Our Winter Blood Drive is NEXT WEEK- Thursday the 12th! Your community needs your help. Our local hospitals are experiencing a seasonal blood shortage. Donating is easy and convenient, and you can make your donation here in the back gym. Appointments are required. Give the gift of life and donate.

    The National Math Honor Society is now accepting new applicants for the 26-27 school year. The google form application can be found in google classrooms through your math class or from your guidance counselor. Applications are due no later than 2/28 at 11;59 pm. Please see Ms. Murphy or Mr. Schimpf with any questions.

    Sachem North Cosmetology is happy to announce the opening of our Friday salon clinic and Saturday salon days. Every Friday will be open for business periods 5-9 and twice a month on Saturdays from 9-12. Call or stop by room G106 to make an appointment.

    SAT: 3/14/26 test day- Regular reg. deadline: 2/27/26 Late reg. deadline: 3/3/26

    ACT: 4/11/26 test day- Regular reg. deadline: 3/6/26 Late reg. deadline: 3/24/26

    Scheduling for the 2026-2027 school year

    Counselors are currently meeting with students to discuss next year’s course selections.  Reminder to students to talk with your teacher’s regarding recommendations and also make sure to actively research and review elective options. 

    The BOCES Visitor’s Day Field Trip is this Wednesday, the 4th.  Students received passes in their 1st period class.  Bus Lists are posted outside of the guidance office and the library.  Only students who turned in their completed signed permission slip will be permitted to attend the field trip. Buses will depart at 7:15AM.  Make sure to be outside Café 1 by 7:15AM.

     Interested students can also attend the BOCES Open House on Thursday, February 5th, from 6:30-8PM, see your counselor for details. 

    SENIORS: If your college/university requires a midyear report, please make sure to fill out a transcript request form in the guidance office so your school receives it in a timely manner.

    Also seniors, if you have decided on your graduation plans-college, work, trade school, etc. email your counselor and we will display an arrow on our guidance door with your name and your plans. (Only if you want)

    Mrs. Fernandez says,  Yuliana is a hard worker that always greets the day with a smile. She is a pleasure to have in class and always gives 110%. Keep reaching for the stars, Yuliana!

    Mrs. Downs says, Mia is a hard-working, talented young lady who makes sure that everyone has what they need all the time. She is a friend to many and helps throughout the rehearsal, lessons, Mentor Club and all the other music activities she is involved in. Mia is the kind of student who makes all students lives better by just being her. We should all be Mia.

    The dynamic duo says, Jaylen is a quiet, respectful young man who really shines in English class. He completes every assignment with solid effort and shows a true love for learning.     Today’s student of the day is Vito DePalo

    Mrs. Conti says, I just had to recognize Vito DePalo, for his kindness to others in the hallway. I witnessed him comforting a special education student in the downstairs Fwing. The student was standing in the hall and Vito walked up to him, asked if he was ok, the boy hugged Vito, he returned the hug and they shook hands. It was such a genuine act of kindness that Vito displayed. Vito's caring and kindness made all of our days. Way to go Vito! Keep being the kind sole that you are!   • Attention June 2026 Graduates:

    Sachem High School North’s Commencement will be held Friday, June 26th 2026 at 5:00 pm.

    If you have not yet had your Senior photo taken, please contact Jo Art Studios directly at 589-6180 to make an appointment asap. Check this website periodically for Commencement updates throughout the year! Any questions regarding graduation can be directed to Mr. Mastropolo’s office at 471-1400, ext. 5525.
